Hello, I'm Wataru Fushimi, head chef here at Samurai FAM. I've been cooking for 23 years. I opened Samurai FAM because I wanted to serve food I could truly, wholeheartedly feed to my own children, family, and friends.
It's a small place with just 9 counter seats, but we carry the word "Jinshin" (heartfelt sincerity) close, and work every day to create something you can only experience here. We use seasonal, Japan-grown, Hokkaido-sourced ingredients, never anything pre-made, and craft each dish by hand — food that's both delicious and easy on the body.
